You do not need a Ukrainian address, phone number or bank account. The stores below accept international Visa and Mastercard — all five have been tested with a German-issued Visa card. Several also take Google Pay or Apple Pay.
Pick a store
Buying from a publisher's own store sends the whole amount to that publisher. Retailers carry many publishers and pass on a share.

Open the site with automatic translation
In Chrome, right-click the page and choose "Translate to English". In Firefox and Safari, use the translation icon in the address bar. Menus, prices and checkout buttons are translated well enough to follow.
Filter for ebooks
Look for Електронні книги, Е-книги or eBook in the menu.
Choose a book
Pick any book. If you do not read Ukrainian and do not plan to read it, that is fine — the purchase is the point.
Check out
Create an account if required; an email address is enough. Pay by card. The currency is hryvnia (UAH); your bank converts it. Most ebooks cost 250 UAH or less — roughly 5.60 USD or 4.80 EUR at current rates (August 2026).
Download the file
Most stores deliver EPUB or PDF by email or in your account. It opens on any e-reader, tablet or phone.
If a store rejects your card: try a different store or a different card. Some Ukrainian banks' anti-fraud checks block certain foreign issuers.
If you would rather not use your own card: apps like Wise and Revolut issue virtual debit cards that work internationally. You top one up with a small amount, use it for the purchase, and your main card is never entered on the store's site.
